Scottish Sensor Systems Centre

Diagnostics and Sensors Partnering Event

11 September 2013, 9.45am- 3.30pm

Partnering Event

Life Sciences Scotland in association with the Enterprise Europe Network are hosting a partnering event focussed on new collaborations related to in vitro diagnostics and sensors that underpin the development of new diagnostics tools and tests.

With a focus on the sensors community as well, this meeting aims to facilitate the application of cutting edge Sensor technologies to in vitro Diagnostics development and vice versa.

Who is it for?

The event will offer industry and academic  participants the opportunity to debate, collaborate and innovate with each other and discuss potential new products, technologies and services through individual meetings.

Partnering is open to delegates with an interest in the development of new diagnostic tools and tests. This event is for you if you:

  • Are interested in molecular diagnostics
  • Have identified solutions for current challenges in developing diagnostic tools and tests
  • Are looking for investment opportunities in diagnostics and sensors
  • Would like to collaborate with companies/academics to develop new diagnostic tests

Innovation Centres

The event is also an ideal opportunity to find out more about each of the three new Innovation Centres supported by the Scottish Funding Council – CENSIS , Stratified Medicine Scotland, and the Digital Health Institute. Representatives of the Centres will be presenting on the day, and will participate in a panel session to discuss ways in which delegates can work with each Centre.
