Glasgow Research Partnership in Engineering (GRPe) Conference

The Glasgow Research Partnership in Engineering (GRPe) is a major programme in collaborative research enabled by investment from the Scottish Funding Council (SFC), and involving the four universities in the west of Scotland:

  • University of Glasgow
  • Glasgow Caledonian University
  • University of Strathclyde
  • University of the West of Scotland

Formed over five years ago, GRPe is building world class research capability under three Joint Research Institutes (JRIs):

  • Electronics, Communications and Power Systems (ECPS)
  • Environmental, Infrastructure and Transportation Engineering (EIT)
  • Mechanics of Materials, Structures and Bioengineering (MSB)

Conference

To mark the five-year anniversary of this partnership, GRPe is hosting a one-day conference in Glasgow on 19June 2013 to highlight the best of the research outputs from the cohort of talented postgraduate research students supported by the initiative.
