TSB Funding Call: Photonics for Healthcare

Recognising the role photonics plays in healthcare, the Technology Strategy Board (TSB) is preparing to invest up to £3.7M in projects that apply innovative photonics technologies to solve challenges in the health sector.
The call is anticipated to be very broad, including technologies for therapy, surgery and diagnostics and manufacture of implants, but excluding in-vivo-diagnostic, which will be part of a different TSB call. The funding will be provided for collaborative feasibility studies and R&D and have to include a SME partner.
To help finding partners in anticipation of the call, TSB is holding a series of events in Cardiff (15 March), London (21 March) and Glasgow (26 March)
